CUBIC ootab osalejaid lühiajalisse projekti “Living with nature”, mis toimub 14.06.2023-04.07.2023 Mühlviertel (Oberösterreich), Austrias. Vabatahtlikud tulevad projekti eri riikidest.

Mõned vabatahtliku tööülesanded grupiprojektis on:

• Kreemide, määrete jm looduslike toodete valmistamine;
• Marjade ja köögiviljade korjamine;

Lühikirjeldus projektist:

The activities are varied: maintenance of a herb and vegetable garden, herb identification, production of distillates, ointments, teas, jams, chutneys, taking care of the bee colonies and insight into beekeeping, extracting honey.

You will live with the rhythm of nature, lend a hand where necessary – take care of the natural growth of the trees, pick watercress at the edge of the stream, get to know the world and the language of bees and wild bees between clary sage and poppies, meditate under the lime tree during our lunch break or chill in the hammock in the garden.

You take a refreshing dip in the swimming pond, grill stick bread, end the evening by the campfire and look at the starry sky. You experience nature as a unity and feel part of it.

The food is freshly prepared by the group of volunteers, looking at: what is there, what can you eat? What does nature give us?  Herbs and wild plants are processed in the kitchen or for storage (e.g. wild herb pesto, herbal syrup). The project is accompanied by a nutritionist, beekeeper, herbalist and meditation leader. Two social workers support the group.

The harvested and self-produced products are made available for social purposes.

Tugiorganisatsiooniks saatvas rollis oli selles projektis MTÜ Continuous Action. Huvi korral kirjuta vabatahtlik@continuousaction.ee.

Vabatahtlikuks on võimalik minna noorel vanuses 18-30 aastat. Projektis osalemisega ei kaasne kohapealseid kulusid – koolitused, elamine, toitlustamine ja kindlustus on 100% rahastatud. Transport projekti toimumisriiki ja tagasi kompenseeritakse vastavalt projekti eelarvele ja programmi Euroopa Solidaarsuskorpus rahastusreeglitele. Lisaks eelpoolnimetatule makstakse vabatahtlikule taskuraha, mis on riigiti erinev.
