During XXV Song and XVIII Dance Celebration 2.-5. July 2009 "To Breathe as One" 15 volunteers, committed to European Voluntary Service project, from all over Europe got a unique experience to contribute in organizing one of the greatest national events in Tallinn, Estonia.

Young volunteers from ten countries – Austria, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Greece, Hungary and France arrived in Estonia already on June 1st and took part in festival preparation, implementation process as well as different topic-related follow-up activities. In addition the volunteers could be noticed on the opening parade as well as on the festival arenas – Tallinn Song Festival Grounds as well as Kalev stadium helping the festival guests and foreign visitors who had come to Tallinn especially for the Celebration.

For the volunteers their EVS started with an intensive training course. They also participated in introductory workshops combined with theoretical and practical activities about Estonian language and culture. The volunteers took part in Estonian song and folk-dance lectures & practical lessons, as well as visited Song Celebration in Tartu - Tartu laulupidu and got a Medieval gastronomic experience in a restaurant Olde Hansa in Tallinn.
