8 youth centres across Tallinn are waiting new volunteers for the upcoming volunteering period of September 2024 – May 2025. There is a possibility to extend the volunteering period until August 2025.

What to do if you’re interested in one of those volunteering positions?

  • Step 1: Read the infokit of the volunteering projects listed above.
  • Step 2: Create a CV and short motivation letter (both in English) and send your documents via e-mail directly to the hosting organisation contact person:

Each hosting placement is different. Make sure that you’re sending your documents to the right contact person! The youth centres are eagerly waiting for the new volunteers, but in return wish to receive valid information from you. Make sure that your sent documents are up-to-date and you’re ready to reply back to the hosting organisation’s e-mails!

  • Step 3: Additionally read more info about placements on ESC portal (click to open the calls): Haabersti, Pääsküla, Valdeku, Põhja-Tallinn, Kesklinn, Lasnamäe, Mustamäe.
  • Step 4: After sending your details to the hosting organisation’s contact person, wait their response and instructions about the interview times and possibilities;
  • Step 5: Have an interview with the hosting organisation and if all goes well, start packing for your new adeventure!
  • Step 6: After you’re accepted to the project, be ready to receive more information about the practicalities from the leading organisation Continuous Action.

Important to know:

This volunteering project in implemented by Continuous Action (leading organisation) in cooperation with 8 youth centres in Tallinn, Estonia who will host the volunteers. Each volunteers has to have a supporting organisation from the home country who will assist and help with the practicalities before-during-after the volunteering. If you don’t have a supporting organisation, we will help you with finding it!

Volunteering activities are for all youth aged 18-30. There are no additional fees asked by organisations when taking part in the project – trainings, living costs, food money and insurance is 100% funded. Travel cost to/from your home country to Estonia is calculated based on the travelled distance and is refunded according to European Solidarity Corps programme rules. Additionally, volunteers receive pocket money that is in Estonia 5€/per day.
