Oma tutvustuseks on vabatahtlikud kirjutanud järgmist:

I am a recent European Studies graduate. My home town is Kożuchów – a small town in western  Poland, but I feel much more connected to the city in which I have spent the last 5 years of my life. That city is Wrocław, or Breslau (it belonged to Germans before the war). I came to do EVS in Estonia in order to complement my education and experience – to see how European youth programmes work from the inside. While I studied I have completed a 6-months long internship with the European Commission in Poland, I also did one traineeship through the Erasmus-Internship scheme (that was with the Nottingham City Council, UK). The most important thing I learned through all this is that one can (and should) learn all the time. I believe that as long as one is focused on his or her goals, there is no room for such a thing as down time.
During my stay here in Tallinn I am planning to pick up at least basic Estonian (even though it’s bound to prove hard since the language is completely different from those I already know) and maybe some Russian. I also hope that my EVS will be an opportunity to meet new and interesting people from whom I could learn. One of my oldest dreams was to someday visit a Scandinavian country, and I have always imagined Tallinn (and Estonia in general) as a kind of gateway to that region. It is perfect to get the Scandinavian feel without exposing oneself to the full cultural shock of going directly to Northern Europe.

I am from Wrocław in Poland, where I finished Biology at the University of Wroclaw. I am European Voluntary Service volunteer in Tallinn and work under Youth in Action Program. During my studies: I was a member of Student Union and I cooperated in organization of different events, e.g: Days of the Department of Biological Sciences where students met with potential employers. For the last 6 months I have worked as Food Lab Technician and now I am open and happy to start a new challenge: working for Continuous Action. I aim to take the most of the great adventure that EVS undoubtedly is. I am a person who loves working with people, helping with their problems and working in a team. My hobby is mountain hiking and taking photos. My stay in Tallinn gives me new experience and knowledge about new culture.
